Piaggio Vietnam is a 100 per cent foreign-invested enterprise and the third-largest factory of the Piaggio Group in the world. Founded in 2007, it is headquartered at the Binh Xuyen Industrial Park in Vinh Phuc province. This is also the headquarters of the Piaggio Group in Asia Pacific, and includes a scooter factory, an advanced technology engine plant, and a Product Research and Development Center. After more than 13 years of operations, Piaggio Vietnam employs nearly 1,000 workers, mainly in Vinh Phuc, and has produced more than 1.3 million vehicles in two famous brands - Vespa and Piaggio. Meeting domestic demand and exporting to major markets in Southeast Asia and Asia-Pacific, some Piaggio products are also exported to the EU. In 2020, Piaggio Vietnam posted its highest production figure ever. For two consecutive years, in 2019 and 2020, it was honored as “Asia’s Best Workplace”, as voted by Asia Human Resources magazine.
